KIWI FRUIT

Kiwifruit is a rich source of vitamin C. Its potassium content by weight is slightly less than that of a banana. It also contains vitamin E,[12] and a small amount of vitamin A.[12][13] The skin is a good source of flavonoid antioxidants . The kiwifruit seed oil contains on average 62% alpha-linolenic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid.[15] Usually a medium size kiwifruit contains about 46 calories,[16] 0.3 g fat, 1 g protein, 11 g carbohydrates, and 2.6 g dietary fiber found partly in the edible skin.[17]

2 cups cubed honeydew melon, frozen or well-chilled

In blender, whirl melon, kiwi, lime juice and sweetener until smoothly blended. If using frozen melon, divide smoothie between 2 tall, narrow glasses. If using chilled melon, pour the smoothie into glasses filled with ice cubes. Garnish each glass with mint sprig, if desired, and serve immediately.
